  • CONDUCTING independent research in areas of legal reform which would be believed as critical to the future of the state of Odisha in particular and India in general.
  • INITIATING fact-finding projects for identifying the status of the execution of Government orders/schemes/notifications and orders of the State High Court or the Supreme Court of India particularly in rural and urban areas of the State of Odisha and India in general and publish the report to the general public and to the responsible state authorities.
  • ANALYSING the welfare policies framed by the State Government as well as the Central Government in light of the present-day situation and provide recommendations to the government for its better implementation.
  • PROVIDING pro bono legal services to marginalized people, backward classes, and people from scheduled tribes and make justice accessible to them. Further, providing people access to justice through Indian/Independent People’s Tribunals (IPTs).
  • UNDERTAKING public interest litigation (PIL) to advance the state of human rights in the country.
  • ENGAGING in advocacy to fight oppression, structural, or by any individual or an organized group. To address the social issues in court by initiating legal proceedings in the appropriate forum of law.
  • ORGANISING legal awareness programmes to empower the civil society with knowledge about the judiciary.
  • UNDERTAKING investigation into environmental and human rights violations through Indian/Independent Peoples Tribunals.
  • PROVIDING recommendation to the government to solve the problems of the peoples situated in different areas of the state/country.
  • ADDRESSING the public grievances caused due to negligence of the government or due of lack of execution of the order of the government or of the court before media and other social forums.
